I love making French toast, and using croissants takes it to a whole new level.

The croissants are so flaky and buttery, this recipe is so easy to make and quite delicious.



4 croissants

3-4 eggs

1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

2 tablespoon. oil (sunflower, canola, grape seed)

Fresh fruit (blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, bananas)

Powdered sugar


1) Pre-heat a medium skillet on medium high heat with 2 tablespoon of oil.

2) In a medium bowl whisk the eggs, add the ground nutmeg and cinnamon.

3) Cut the croissants in half, and dip each half into the egg mixture, let the excess drip off and place into the hot pan. Cook the croissants on each side for 3-5 minutes until the egg is cooked and the color is golden brown. Repeat until all croissants are cooked.

4) Top with fresh fruit, and dust with powdered sugar.
