Greek Yogurt Dip with Cumin and Coriander

This dip is excellent with naan bread, pita sandwiches, grilled meats and vegetables. Its base is greek yogurt.  Blending fresh mint leaves and a few spices together; its ready in minutes. This dip pairs well with Indian or Greek cuisine.

Yield: 1 cup


1 cup plain Greek yogurt

2 tbsp fresh mint leaves; minced

1 tsp. cumin

1 tsp. coriander

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. fresh lemon juice

pepper to taste


Wash and pat dry the mint leaves,then chop very fine. Juice the lemon.

In a medium bowl combine the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, mint leaves, cumin, coriander, pepper, and cinnamon. Mix until well combined and serve.
